About Us
This ideal developed with a thought that I wanted to do more in the community where I was raised, Knoxville, TN. I began to tell my family and friends what I desired, and they quickly agreed to assist me with what I desired to do. Community of Givers was created because I realize to love your neighbor was a greater need than one would like to admit. With the first giveaway in 2019, it took everyone coming together and working together to make it happen. I realize that we are nothing without those who are willing to help someone else without judgment or looking down at them in their situation or circumstances. I also recognized, "We Work Better Together" and therefore Community of Givers are you, me, we, them, all of us working together to make it happen for someone else.

To serve others has been embedded in me at a young age. Family was important to my mother and being there for her family and as well as others was just as equally important. To her family was not only those individuals that had a blood relation. It was also, those individuals she would encounter that needed some assistance along their way, in their own life's journey. She was always willing to serve and assist them however she could. She did it with gladness of heart and a smile on her face. Serving others truly made her joyous inside. I experience that joyous feeling in 2019 and my heart was full, it was truly joyously happy.

Minister Linda is an artisan artist in which she makes jewelry. She is also a seamstress to name a few things she has been gifted to do. She is a very creative woman who shares her talents with others. She loves the Lord and has a heart to serve the people.

Ms. Coleman-Ruff is a Visual and Fabric Artist at Deneen's Nubian Visions. Ms. Colemen-Ruff is a survivor! She has battled cancer for several years and fought it each time. She has been free of cancer for the past 11 years and gives all the Glory to God. "It was him that brought me through each time and I'm grateful and Thankful to father God." She has a heart to server others.

Elder Robinson is a father of 5 children with his wife Lisa Robinson. Elder Robinson owns several businesses in his local community. StartFresh Aps Inc. Mobile Detailing, Pressure Wash, and Middle Tennessee Detail Service. He and his wife with a few family members feed the unhoused community every 5th Saturday of the month. He has the love to treat others like you would want to be treat and he does just . He serves the community, his church and his family with gladness of heart because he has been called to serve others.
