The first year it was my family cousins, aunts, brothers, and sisters that came out to serve the people. It was my friends my extended family that helped packed the bags along with my family. I was grateful that this year we gave out 100 drawstring bags through various donations from people all over in and out of the state of Tennesse. Thankful for everyone
Our history
This ideal came in 2019 of a thought that I wanted to do more in the community where I was raised. I began to tell my family and friends what I desired and they quickly agreed to assist. The Community Of Givers was created because I realize to love your neighbor was a greater needed then one would like to admit.
With the first giveaway it took everyone to make it happen. I realize that we are nothing without those who are willing to help someone else without judgement or looking down at their situation or circumstances. I realize that, "We Work Better Together" and therefore me, you, we, them, everyone has us, The Community Of Givers.
Our mission
An organization that serves the community with financial assistance, resources, and literacy. Aid in community growth with workshops, camps, serving the homeless, youth, elderly, and the low-income population.
